LG's WebOS Smart TV
In 2013, LG tasked Float to redefine the TV first setup and settings menus for their next generation Smart TV. This was when the smart TV concept was only just coming to fruition, before the explosion of Roku, Amazon Fire, Chromecast, etc. I oversaw the effort to simplify these typically dense and hard to navigate systems. The effort led to a 150 page UX outline that detailed the entire flow. This was used by the LG Engineering team to built these components. Upon completion of the UX design, I oversaw the UI visual design for these setup and settings menus, based off LG's TV UI style guide.
