Blu is a musical instrument for kids. Drawing inspiration from a keyboard, it reimagines keys in a modular and highly flexible fashion. As if he or she were playing with building blocks, the child learns to understand and compose songs, and develops a sense of timing and improvisation.
Each key is moveable; setting its position, one determines the pitch and timing of the notes. With colorful and bright interfaces, he or she can manipulate notes in an exciting and educational manner. Blu's functionality can be expanded: mats teach the user how to play and position the pieces, and additional keys offer drum and sound recording functionalities. ▰
