The Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam, The Netherlands did an amazing thing: it opened it's collection up to the public domain, to create art from art. (And to promote it's world famous collection even further.) I took the invitation and started creating digital collages from a selection of painters and images.

Nachtwachtzaal Obfuscation
The following collage is based on all the paintings hanging in the Nachtwachtzaal at the Rijksmuseum Amsterdam. It consists of the most famous painting by Rembrandt van Rijn of the same name, and four others by Govert Flinck, Joachim von Sandrart, Frans Hals and Bartholomeus van der Helst.
