Co-founded with Sammi Gale as a platform for undergraduate creative writing at UEA, EXIT was a DIY journal that balanced a stark black and white aesthetic against a vivid textural approach, with rich interpretative illustration and bold typographic treatment. EXIT ran for three issues over two years, with featured writers going on to be printed, published and offered international book deals.
