Here are my monkeys!
This is the series of five handmade babushka monkeys.
I must say that lately I admire the texture of wood, and so I’ve painted five different monkey characters on wooden babushkas (old Russian wooden dolls). The monkeys each have a different spirit, mood and symbols.
Painting on wood is very traditional, and so are babushkas…
This is just my style.
