It’s uncommon to find an art form that can be represented just as beautifully when translated into a different artistic expression, the way it’s rare to have someone love the movie just as much as they loved the book. Watching them move, each with a distinct breaking style, I wondered if it was possible to capture their dancing performances with a still image, as contradictory as that sounded at face-value. Lightbre​akers is a photography exhibit that creates collaboration between moving bodies and still images, illustrating what breakdancing looks like, and showcasing the different B-Boy styles.
