The album "Heartland" by Owen Pallett is a narration that Pallett developed to convey his ideas on religion and human's relationship with an ultimate being. This CD is set on a world called Spectrum and follows a character named Lewis on his many complications with his creator. The design for the CD was done with a style inspired by Bradbury Thompson. The bug on the cover has a filament within its soul that needs to complete something and when the packaging is open and all the way to the end it is found that the CD contains a lightbulb that is missing it's filament. The designs movement and elements reflects the journey that the CD is all about.
