A sampling of photos from my collection.
Morning Glory, Oregon, USA

There is something about sun rays that I just absolutely love and want to capture. Also, I had always wanted to try my hand at HDR photography and this image is one of my first projects using the technique.
A glorious sunset at Cape Kiwanda, Oregon, USA

Cape Kiwanda is one of my absolute favorite places to go in Oregon. It is a place that seems set apart from the rest of the world and inspires me to capture the beauty and peace through my photos as well as trying to capture a tiny bit of the culture of the people who make it their home and the ones who visit .
Moon setting over Haystack Rock, Pacific City, OR, USA

This photo was taken at 5 am just before sunrise. The peacefulness of the beach, calmness of the ocean and the setting of the moon set a mood of tranquility and inner reflection and stillness for the coming day.
All in a Day's Work, Pacific City, OR, USA

Daily throughout the year, when the ocean and conditions are optimum, the Pacific Dory fisherman come down to the beach to launch their craft for the coming day's work. It is a true sight to see and is one of the few fisher fleets that still launch from the beach. Their dedication to keeping the 115 year old tradition alive and thriving is inspiring and admirable. This photo pays homage to them and their craft.
Pelican Dive, Pacific City, OR, USA

On certain days you can see litterally hundreds of pelicans flying the skys above and around Cape Kiwanda. This photo is a composite of 8 different photos showing the progression of the pelican's dive.
Surfer catching air, Pacific City, OR, USA

At all times of the year from New Year's Day to New Year's Eve, surfers hit the waves at Cape Kiwanda in Pacific City. They are fun and exciting to watch and photograph. I love the dedication to their sport that drives them to perfect their art. For me personally I love the challenge of trying to get that perfect capture of them on the perfect ride.
Cottage at Blaise Hamlet, UK

The cottages at Blaise Hamlet seem taken from a fairy tale. The thatched roofs and hobbit like nature are truly an amazing sight to see. The parklike atmosphere is peaceful and fills you with wonder and a sense of wanting to let your immagination run wild. They are the vision of my dream residence and a place I would happily live.
Bristol Cathedral, UK

Nothing prepared me for the majesty and inspiration of the cathedrals. I have read how they were built and have seen pictures of their beauty but the words and pictures don't come close to the feeling that runs though you when you experience their grandure in person. I wanted to capture that feeling in my photography of the sites and their similarieties but also the vast diversity of each individual one.
Bath Abbey, UK

There is a uniqueness about each ceiling and the artistry involved is spectacular. I love the pattern and dimension of the Bath Cathedral's as seen here.
Bath Abbey, UK

The beauty and flow of the columns, arches and ornate stonework draws you into the heart of the Cathedral and it's sense of unity and peace
Wells Cathedral, UK

This is one of my absolute favorites of the Cathedral images. I love the abstract nature of the arches and circles but also the sense of flow and unity.
Wells Cathedral, UK

I love the long symmetry that draws you down and into the heart of the Cathedral and the contrast of the grey, roughness of the stone of the floor to the light, pureness of the walls and ceiling.
Follow My Lead

Donkeys love to take the same path and naturally form a line to get to their destination. I loved the rustic nature of this shot and the symmetry of the donkeys.
Flying Baby Abbey Road

Baby donkeys love to race around for hours and are a great source of entertainment. They have been one of my favorite subjects to photograph as their enthusiasm for life is contageous and uplifting.
Dutchess, 15 years 10 months, USA

This is my girl, Dutchess,  just before she passed on. It touches within me her peace and reflection of her life as if she were seeing beyond her failed vision to the joys and travels of the past 15 years together. I often wonder what she was thinking and if she knew her time was near. It is a piece I will always hold dear.
