Minim is a system of retaining independence for people living with dementia. It aims to help them to manage and document daily tasks, and to inform family/friends and carers of their progress, enabling loved ones to offer support from a distance.
The Minim logo design is based on the idea of capturing time, in order for people struggling with short-term memory loss to keep track of daily events. In this sense, there are connections between the design and clock faces, sundials, Spiro-graphs, lotus flowers and wheels. The final design was seen as a distillation of each of these elements.
