Suatukala is a volunteer-based community development initiative originating in Langkawi. Our goal is to create a thriving artistic eco-system, by encouraging the sharing of stories in any form. While Langkawi is our home, Suatukala embraces story creators, tellers and listeners from around the globe.

 

Why Stories?

 

Because a story is one of the most common planes through which we bond and one of the most fundamental ways through which we learn about the world. It’s also a great equalizer – because everyone is a story creator, narrator and listener.

 

Plus, Langkawi, our home, is an island famed for its myths and fables.
