Cognotion is an educational game company that is all about having fun while you learn! Cognotion recognizes the individuality of each person and focuses on what makes each child unique. Each game is targeted to specific learning styles (visual, auditory & kinesthetic) and is customizable so that each child can learn to the best of his or her abilities while having a blast! Understanding that the root of educational success is a strong community, Cognotion gives back to the community, donating 15% of all proceeds to non-profits across the country. 

 

After completely branding the company, I hand-coded a live website where all Cognotion games would be sold, featuring a gallery of all offered games, educational pages about learning styles, customization pages, and information about Cognotion sponsorships. I also created and built an example of the type of game Cognotion would sell, Guess Where?, in addition to promotional items that would be distributed upon purchase. 

Cognotion's "Guess Where?" is a classic take on the board game "Guess Who?", in which players take turns asking intellectual questions to uncover their opponent's mystery state card. This game is an example of the types of games Cognotion sells and customizes, and displays the juxtoposition of fun and education.
