n16 Laproscopic graspers
"n16" was a team project in "applied medical design" which sought to improve the ergonomics of surgical graspers and reduce fatigue for surgeons under long operations.
"n16" was designed to model after the hand, and everything else was designed after this. To reduce the amount of moving components and use the device easier to clean and sterilise a hydraulic system was selected as it is a contained system which also can increase the mechanical features without space consuming gears or levers.
