Travel - South America
December 2007
A selection of pictures from a trip to Chile, Bolivia and Argentina. The trip was part of a "healing" process... My main focus was just to simply lose myself. Easily achieved in the desert and salt flats of Atacama.

It was the first time I had to deal with so much space in my images. At first I thought it would be an easy tasks, being used to shooting skiers in mountain settings, I soon found out I had allot to learn about landscape photography. The bulk of the images we're shot with my Nikon D2H and a Lumix reflex (can't remember the model). It was a great camera with a very nice Leica zoom lens.

I've grown allot since these pictures (as a person and a photographer) but they are still very dear to me as they we're part of a long process, a transition, towards new endeavors in photography and cinematography... Which explains why I cropped some of these in a very thight landscape form.
