Finalist in Creative for a Cause advertising contest, presented by Advertising Age, Fiverr, Creativity, and Internet Week New York
Assignment: Design a transit ad for nonprofit Code/Interactive that stops people in their tracks, inspires action, and encourages everyone to learn more about C/I’s mission to help at-risk inner-city youth and grow diversity in the technology field.
 
The creative strategy of this piece is to make a simple, bold statement that brings the issue to the forefront. The ad uses one of the most basic code tags that signifies “division” and urges the viewer to bridge the gap in the community. 
 
It speaks to tech industry influencers, who can create change from inside. It also reaches out to those who will be served by C/I, sparking interest and reassuring them that there are dedicated resources available to help.
