My entry for the 2013 ISTD competition, I chose the topic of 'all about one thing'.  
 
The title, ‘Bear The Gree’ is from an old Scottish phrase ‘to bear the gree’, meaning to decidedly victor or to take precedence of others. It derives from the word ‘Gre’, an old term for the greyhound. This publication deals with the life of the greyhound during its racing career, and what happens once it retires and ends up in a new home. It showcases the two extremes, one rigid, structural life existing only as a number, and then the confusion that is created once it is expected to be an individual, a member of a family.
