Clarice Slabbert's profile

Chapters Interiors Identity

Renowned South African interior decorator Melanie Ewing approached us to create a corporate identity (and naming convention) inspired by her personal design work. By drawing on Melanie’s approach to interior design, and by using classic design cues, juxtaposed with more contemporary design - we created a corporate identity that meets a modern aesthetic with a timeless sophistication.

A classic set of clock hands held within interchanging clock faces forms the basis of Chapter’s interiors’ identity. The surrounding graphic elements create a contemporary look using a familiar design language, allowing the brand experience to remain dynamic, innovative and fresh.

Luxury and style is finally exuded by the production – luxurious imported paper complimented by a carefully selected colour palette, elegant copper foiling and decadent letterpress printing.
