Pendulum Clock
Mechanical clock out of PMMA sheet material
A mechanical working clock with an actual watch escapement. Collaboration with 2 other class mates:
- Robbert Hamburger and Annabel Hoekstra.
One thing we have learned from this experience, is that you should be careful with superglue or you glue your whole set of gears together.

Below is a video showing the actual clock that fits (without the pendulum) in your hand palm. As noticeable, the clock is not perfectly refined that is why it does not run all that smooth.
A couple of notes:
[00:20] That is a gear that acts as weight and is held out of the pendulums way.
[00:31] Every time it stops there for no apparent reason, but a gentle push helps it on it's way.
[00:44] Robbert hangs the gear back, which shows the pendulum hitting the rope.
