Nada (No Allergens. Delicious Always)

Nada (No Allergens, Delicious Always) is inspired by a global trend most Americans, including my family and I experience, food allergies and food limitations. Food allergies have always been a concern in my family. My mother is allergic to dairy and soy, and recently she has is having allergic reactions to gluten as well.

My company is a pre-packaged snack food company dedicated to providing allergen-free options to those with a range of allergies from gluten and dairy to nuts and soy. These snacks both look and taste amazing. Nada is meant to change the way people look at allergen free foods. Most people look at them and say “how can this actually taste good it doesn’t even have gluten in it” Nada is different. Nada captures the delicious taste and quality of snacks without the added unnecessary additives and preservatives. This system is completely color coded so consumers know exactly what food they are buying and which allergens are not included immediately so there is no confusion.

Because our goal is to change the way people perceive allergen free food, we have created something called “nada certified”. With this campaign, we handpick restaurants and cafes that have a large enough allergen free section and supply them with mini menus, a window decal, and a rack card to explain the program. In addition, consumers can go on the website to find out all of this info and search for nada certified stores.
