Form:Media and Ekistics developed a new logo and built environment for one of Halifax’s most respected Lebanese restaurants. Form:Media crafted a logo that drew on the parallel strokes in Arabic calligraphy. The wordmark was crafted by hand to emphasize the restaurant’s emphasis on homemade recipes and authentic ingredients. Ekistics oversaw every aspect of the build—from the preparation of drawings to the fabrication of components and overall construction management.

The calligraphy-based logo was crafted by hand to emphasize the restaurant’s emphasis on homemade recipes and authentic ingredients.
Building on the restaurant’s reputation for authentic Lebanese cuisine, we designed a highly distinctive identity that paid homage to the restaurant’s middle eastern roots.
New photography was commissioned and art directed for use on menu boards and print collateral.
We was responsible for taking the identity and carrying it through all aspects of the restaurant’s operation—from the in-house graphics and signage to all forms of collateral, including menus, uniforms, napkins and bags.
