This is my MLA design. Finished in 2015.
Design is based on visibility, environmental and cultural values analyses. It answers to needs of local community, adds a safe place for motor vehicles and spectators and provide shelter for wildlife living in the south part of designed area.
These three functions are placed in order from most to least intense used. It is graded for creating the best possible noise suppression for the wildlife living in riparian woodland and in the same time it can be a benefit for the people searching for tranquility.
Landscape type: post-industrialFeatures: water (river and ponds), diverse terrain, wildlife, outside views
Problems: spoil dump of inactive mine, dry basin (approx. 6,8ha / 16ac)
Solution: motor racing track in dry basin, open space for wind sports, tribune, playground, dog park, educational area
