Thames Water Mirror was a project developed during the 3D Design course at Camberwell College of Arts (UAL). The initial briefing requested a mirror for a specific client. By researching the client, his store, his products, I found a certain identity to his work. My research gathered three main components to his work and style: playfulness, simplicity and memories. For the playfulness, my product refers to the water mirrors found on rivers and lakes representing the water’s own reflection. It is also a map (everybody loves a map). The all-black color scheme and square shape makes it clean and simple. To activate memories, I chose the map from River Thames surroundings. Developed in London for the Londoners.
