Our goal was to design the main image for a play that portrayed the life of a famous and progressive Korean poet, Kim Soo-young, focusing on the historical and political turmoil he experienced during the Japanese colonial era and the Korean War. Connecting history with current social issues, the play throws out a bundle of questions at the audience, giving much to think about. Typography and illustrations with a cutout feel were used to keep the tone and manner bold but light, just as the play sends out a profound and serious message in a witty manner.

Applications for this program include posters, program books, web banners, magazine ads, in/outdoor banners, etc.
