The brief: to redesign the student newspaper of the University of Cumbria, including the masthead. It is used as a format to publish Journalism degree students' work. The previous version was very dull and conventional, designed by journalists, not designers. Produce a template that journalism students could drop work into, with styling that draws on current media communication forms, which would make it more accessible to a readership that generally don't read newspapers. Dimensions: tabloid. To be printed on newsprint. Include space for advertisements.
