Arduino Baby lighting mat
Project developed during University for toddlers from Fosters Homes. Due to the lack of early stimulation given by the staff, babies can’t reach the stages of cognitive and physical stimulation needed for a proper development. The luminescent mat gave the infants light patterns produced by pressure sensors programmed by Arduino, giving the basic reasoning of cause and effect.
The curves and materials were tested and designed after the movements babies should do in order to attain the correct physical development of neck and back muscles.
