Post Modern Philosophy Posters
I am always looking for ways to visually capture and visualize thoughts and concepts. This series of posters was an exploration into both that idea and into illustration. Philosophy is a subject that fits this perfectly. How can the interconnections of thought and an idea be expressed visually? What illustrative techniques can be used to emphasize these?
The development of these posters began with exploring a graphic way to represent a concept or idea. These shapes fit and contrasted nicely with both solid blocks of colour as well as with a photographic texture. When all of these elements came together, the end result was something that was both appealing to look at as well as a representation of a concept or idea.
