My logo consists of four different colors. Orange, Black, Red, and Yellow, some of these colors are plain and others come in gradients. The first color I picked when designing my logo, was yellow, I chose this color because it adds a bright, energetic, feel to the logo. I also picked orange, because this is a very vibrant color, it is also very appealing, and this color is also next to yellow on the color wheel, so it fit perfectly in the logo. The third color that I decided to put on my logo was red. The color red gives off a powerful feel to it, also, this color is right next to orange on the color wheel so it fit perfectly with my color scheme. The last color that is incorporated in my piece is black, I chose this color to create contrast in my logo, to make my logo more appealing to whoever may see it.

 

In order to help the colors communicate what I wanted, my piece is made up of certain shapes and figures that give off similar ideas. Placed in the center of the logo, is a spiral shape, this spiral helps create visual movement in my logo, it also however, creates a focal point right in the middle of the piece. This spiral also is placed to show a path to success, it looks complicated, but if you keep going, you will reach your goal. Next, I incorporated four, yellow shapes that together, create a lightning bolt. This lightning bolt is in my logo to show that I am an energetic person, and I love to keep active. I separated the bolt into four pieces to make it more interesting. Lastly, I added the two black pieces, these are in the piece in order to unite all parts of the log into one. These two pieces join with the lightning bolt and spiral in order to create the letter “R”, which is the first letter of my name, adding the final touch to the logo.
