This was a personal project and challenge for myself. I wanted to see what it was like to create an icon, and make something while adhering to a strict style guide. So I chose to redesign the icon of an open source app I semi-frequently use, BleachBit.

 

The choice of color was dictated by the color pallet used by the Tango project. The Tango project puts a heavy influence on clean design and easy to recognize shapes, which is why I used the very recognizable shape of a bottle of bleach.
