Built Modern is an exhibition catalog for an exhibition concept showcasing the interior, architectural and industrial design of Alvin Lustig at the Cooper Hewitt Design Museum. Lustig is primarily known for his typographic book cover design. I felt it would be interesting to explore how the typographic elements found in his graphic design work translated into his work beyond the printed page. 

 

The exhibition juxtaposes typographic shapes found in Lustig's earlier work with his interior, architectural and industrial design work.
