Considerations include placement, typeface and weight, and color scheme. I wanted the text to feel similar to Puryear's work, consisting of solid objects placed in thoughtful groupings.The color scheme reflects his use of natural, warm wood tones.
Rough sketches were made en masse to rapidly try out different layouts with various objectives.
