For my Electronic Illustration class, we were required to create a black and white digital portrait. After creating the portrait, I wanted to utilize the line art more and create a more dramatic, comic-like image.

To create a more dramatic image and even darker mood, I worked with the original image and altered some color tones and lighting, and then brought the new illustration in to overlay as pen work. This sort of comic style is something I have been working with for quite awhile and one I want to continue developing.
