Just for fun: I enjoy hosting creative events for friends and family as a way to get people together and use the silly side of my brain. My mom and I have hosted two Amazing Race events, modeled after the once-popular TV series. My 2014 Amazing Race, the "Countrified" Edition, pitted two groups of contestants, playing as rival families, against each other in a race around Chester County, Pennsylvania, to earn back their families' properties. The theme for the race was revealed to contestants through a serious-looking letter that they received in an envelope when they arrived at the starting line. Here is a sample from the letter.
