Absolut Vodka Project

One of the first artists I researched was Mark Rothko. I recreated one of his paintings from scratch using a soft brush stroke in Photoshop. I feel that the background complements the colours involved in the foreground bottle graphic which gives the design a nice finish.
This poster is based on Jackson Pollock's work. It consists of two famous paintings by Pollock to create an eccentric design.
This design was an attempt at Roy Lichtenstein's famous dot design. After following a Photoshop tutorial about using Colour Halftone, this was the result I created.
Using another of Lichtenstein's artwork, I created a poster that uses a substitute metaphor. Quite a subtle edit but works well, in my opinion.
This is my final piece. Based on one of many Mondrian art designs, I created an additive metaphor to create a subtle but attractive Absolut Vodka poster.
