The Scotch Whisky Association works to protect, promote and represent the Scotch Whisky industry around the world.

 

The SWA celebrated 100 years with the ‘Grain to Glass Exhibition’. Displayed in the Main Lobby of the Scottish Parliament from November 2012 to January 2013. The exhibition was a celebration of the scale and diversity of the industry and was a focal point for SWA events, screenings and tastings.

 

The initial exhibition was designed to be complementary to the unique space within the Parliament building whilst clearly maintaining its own identity and telling the

story of Whisky in a compelling and engaging way. A simple graphic numbering

system helped visitors follow the whisky process in an orderly way and the totem graphics highlight people case studies linked to each stage.

 

The exhibition was removed and stored prior to being re-installed Glasgow and Elgin for the Speyside Whisky Festival
