Peter Gabriel’s Sledgehammer is a song which has a very well known video, the video Is seen as artistic and different due to it’s use of stop motion animation.
The message that was conveyed to me by the song by Peter Gabriel is one of love and growth.
The song’s video also focuses around life’s path and the growth, the beginning of the video features sperm cells, still in the stop motion animation style.
This then leads on to the message of the video being a person growing and falling in love. The white circle represented sperm cells in my design and the vast infinite number represented the quantity of them but in not so much of an obvious way.
I duplicated this and rotated it multiple times to create content and a feeling of infinite cells.
They were laid out in a circle shape to convey the circle of life and also because the circle is the same size as the sticker on a vinyl.
