Lowe's Bows

Lowe’s Bows is a fictional Bow Tie brand for men, women and children. Lowe’s Bows aims to produce high quality and exclusive Bow Ties for all occasions, whilst still keeping in mind our customers own style individuality.

This project involved recontextualising an existing products package and reinventing it into a new context. The original purpose of my chosen package was a baby’s toy packet. My aim was to challenge myself to produce a package that would be unrecognizable to the original, with only the structure being a replica.

I wanted the package to represent the new innovative Lowe’s Bows brand thoroughly, discarding any trace of the original context. My design reflected this idea and up kept the distinctive and handicraft nature of the product. The use of the recycled paper stock and sophisticated typeface emphasized this impression.
