A challenging site between two existing buildings
A brand new seven story office block adjoining the Football Association building (prior to moving to Wembley), by architects Wintersgill & Faulkner
Yates Associates undertook the full detailed design of mechanical, public-health and electrical systems. The building was fully air-conditioned but Building Control required that a fire fighting lift was to be a condition, which caused us to design and provide a pressurised stair shaft. Water feature lighting was employed in the main entrance foyer and 600 x 600 lay-in fluorescent modules in the open plan office hubs.
