Ty Nant Rebrand, Advertising and Marketing.

Design Bridge set a brief to rebrand a famous current brand. Ty Nant, a welsh premium water supplier with 60% of sales exported, my challenge was to launch this water back in Cardiff, but still keeping the water exclusive and premium. Ty Nant's current marketing strategy is to for the water to not be sold commercially and to be sold in premium locations. Due to this, excluded a vast majority of their market as there are premium customers in other Locations. My aim was to create an environment that kept the brands exclusive element but broadening the sales across the UK to more UK premium customers. My idea was to launch the premium Ty Nant water in an exclusive bar in Cardiff. The bar will exclusively sell Ty Nant Water and other drink combinations using the exclusive water! This not only gives the customer a feel of a premium drink, but linking it with a premium experience. This is the advert that will attract potential customers due to its premium aspirational vibe but will also be located at the shopfront, where the water will give the illusion of flowing from the ceiling. My aim here was to pull on peoples natural curiosity and to create desire.

Ty Nant Shop front, an exclusive premium location selling the premium water and other related drinks using Ty Nant. The Ty Nant advertisement located below will be played as the shop front not allowing the viewer to see the inside of the shop initially, this will allow natural customer curiosity making them feel the need to know what's on the inside.
This is the countdown element to the launch I created to correspond with the slide below. Leading up to the big launch of Ty Nant finally being sold in Cardiff, I came up with a point of sale strategy and a countdown of having a launch where the Ty Nant Bottle was trapped inside a large ice cube located somewhere else in the shopping center. As the Ice melts it will be timed perfectly alongside the countdown on the front of the shop. This will allow a shock factor and a curiosity element making the consumer see it as water that's worth the wait of the ice melting.

'Water Worth Your Wait'
Visual of the bottle located in St Davids Shopping Centre in Cardiff.
I aimed for an ambitious advertisement to reflect the premium and expense element to the product. Premium customers expect premium advertisement.
These visuals will be located around the shopping center to subtly catch the consumers eyes with large expensive visuals drawing them in and eventually guiding them to bar.
