Ever since photographing vinyl toys in public spaces, a passion for digital photography has always resonated with me. I know that my creativity lives within the design world, but it is my appreciation of life's gifts that I intend to capture through the camera lens. With a recent vacation to the United States of America, I was able to harness moments that I knew were priceless. Most of all, they are visual reminders that will continue to live with me, acting as a reminder of where I have been and where I endeavour to go. Visiting California, Chicago, New York and Las Vegas, I was blessed with the opportunity to experience these places and what way to capture all the precious moments and essence - none better than through the photographic medium. Whether it was a natural photograph in black and white, or captivating the true vibrancy in colour, it did not matter. It's still a memory.
Each city and state that I visited had its own personality and culture. Mouth watering food, architecture of old and new, art museums and galleries, endless shopping precincts, lovely people and the excitement of sport events. All were just amazing to witness in face value and certainly unforgettable. Breathing in the American air and walking the American streets, it was an adventure, an expedition and an eye opener just to see what this country is about. But don't get me wrong, there are more places to definitely see in the USA, but for now, let's just say it's a new love...
