FKepiphany

FKepiphany is a constructed blackletter font. Originally, it was designed as a corporate part of the project "Epiphany — Strife Of Gods", but the font grew out of it and became a self-contained project that now only shares the name with the initial project.

One could think the absolutely angular shapes of its letters and the relentlessly rational canon leads to an overall mechanic and cold look, but that's not the case. The font appears soft and homogenously flowing. The design is inspired by blackletter scripts, but it uses unusual shapes and details that are based on antiqua canon. This makes the font a deviant hybrid of blackletter and antiqua. The font is designed to be used in lowercase, but that doesn't mean there aren't any capital letters included.These reference antiqua letters which makes them suitable for uppercase settings of whole words (to rascally circumvent traditional rules for blackletter settings). The font has various special glyphs, decorative letters and ligatures.
