Sagittarius Invaders

Sagittarius Invaders is a Spinoff to Sagittarius Commander S. It is a "Space Invaders" clone I did in my free time, to practice C# with XNA a bit and learn more about the game design choices of old arcade classics.
It features the player as one of the turrets of Sagittarius Commander S, shooting at the invaders, which are represented as the small creep-ships.
 
It plays just like the classic Space Invaders: Shoot, one bullet at a time, at the enemies, which move slowly left to right and one down if they reach the edge of the screen. One hit will kill them, but you too, so don't get hit!
Aslo, the more you kill, the faster they move.
This version was also supposed to have a few additions and changes to it.
Like powerups for the player, or a boss fight every few stages. While I was able to implement the functionality of powerups (a missile barrage or temporary rapid-fire), they never actually made it into the game in the end (except as dev commands).
It is just a really small game made for fun and to learn a bit of C#/XNA. Although I had a few more plans for it, I stopped working on it as soon as it was in a good spot and I really had other stuff to do anyway.
