Falmouth Street Market

Corner Collective: Your last minute miracle market.

The brief was to create a steet market in Falmouth that would benefit the local economy and residents yet not be a threat to exsisting businesses. My solution was your ‘Corner Collective: Your last minute miracle market’,
based on that moment when your tummy rumbles and reminds you that you dont have anything in for dinner.
Pre-prepared food boxes would contain all the ingredients you would need to create your chosen meal. The Collective is made up of local traders selling fresh produce and although the market would be in a physical building, keeping the personality and uniqueness of the traders is important. This would be done through the packaging and personal information cards relating to the person and produce which you would recieve in your parcel. I used a organic and hand rendered visual language to reflect the freshness and personal element to the business.
‘Corner Collective’ would be situated within walking distance of the town centre meaning people may walk past but also still enabled customers to collect their evening meal parcel. Being in the forefront of the audiences mind was important so that in the moment of panic when they remember they have nothing in for dinner they can rely on ‘Corner Collective’.
