The project was part of Stefano Caggiano’s semiotic course. The task was to modify the characteristics of a chair. I wanted to achieve the illusion of levitation by cutting of the legs. I used slim chrome pipes to complement the legs and further modify the chair’s characteristics. The pipes also indicate an invisible inner metal frame.
A projekt Stefano Caggiano vendégprofesszor szemiotikai kurzusa alatt készült. A feladat a szék karakterének módosítása volt. A lábak levágásá- val a lebegés illúzióját kívántam kelteni. A lábak pótlására karcsú krómcsöveket használtam, melyek tovább fokozzák a karakter módosulását, illetve egy nem látható belső fémváz hatását keltik.
