GaramondTimes is a typogarphy semester project, that considers with Claude Garamont

and the numerous variants of his font.

Goal of the typography curse was to deal with fonts – 
at the end of the semester each student 
should have created a print product about typography and made experiences in type design. 

I focused on Claude Garamont and tried to make the Stempel Garamond usable for display applications, 
by straightening some edges and nooks and customize the spacing in fontlab.

My Garamond Newspaper deals with history, an experiment how similar the different 
Garamond fonts act in a continuous text, the family tree of the different Garamond variants 
and my digital version of the Stempel Garamond.
