PASSION LIVES HERE

WRAPPING FOR THE MAST BROTHERS New York / Brooklyn
Passion lives here.

This was the moto for the 2006 Olympic Games in Turin (Italy). Thousands of athletes met that year to revert their passion into olympic medals for their countries. In the run for victory and achievement, more important even than training and luck, was the heart. The heart drives and determines our fate. Passionate hearts have always made the difference. No field escapes this reality; not even business.  Actually passionate people don’t even know they mean business because they simply do what they want to do; and that’s the reason why they are doing it great.

The Mast Brothers are two passionate hearts who dedicate their lives to chocolate making. A devotion to  the details and their coinciding love for crafted things are the ingredients that make their chocolate bars so special.

Their story on vimeo inspired me to the point that I couldn’t help thinking of making a chocolate wrapping for them until I actually did it. I ‘ve spent a couple of days thinking chocolate at any time, measuring chocolate bars in the supermarkets and wrapping and unwrapping chocolate bars until I found a proper way to do it. I felt for a moment like Charlie fantisizing a golden pass to enter the factory.

I got an even greater reward actually: a gratifying feeling of passion led me to the resulting work underneath.

The same passion, I suppose,  the Mast Brothers experience in their daily search for excellence.
Ideas are seeds wich nourish themselves from the sap of your heart. Water them every single day.
