Faber-Castell’s “The Creative Journey” is its first online brand-storytelling initiative. It's a new step into the digital era for the traditional German company, which prides itself on promoting work “handmade ideas”
 
Faber-Castell allowed DAVID The Agency to create a tablet-first, brand storytelling website that gives users a different perspective on the company's products and their various uses. A combination of user experience design, parallax scrolling, HTML5 animations, gamification and profile segmentation, this is a unique experience that stays true to the core of the brand: companionship for life.
 
The site often alludes to one of the most successful regional campaigns created by DAVID in 2014 (specifically for the Brazilian market) called “Linha da Vida”, meaning “Lifeline.” This is why lines and strokes are prominently featured in the site's design, architecture and navigation.
