EV Charging Station

The state of Kansas has the potential to produce over 3,000 TW·h of wind power a year. That is equal to 75% of the total power production of the United States. The state is even named for the Kansa Tribe, whose name means “people of the wind.”
As our society shift toward the use of electric vehicles, it is increasingly important to be conscious of the way that we provide energy for the charging stations. Wind energy provides a clean alternative to fossil fuels.
These charging stations would built on I-70 within the Smoky Hills Wind Farm. They would be run completely on wind power and service remote stretches on a heavily travelled highway. This would work to promote both the use of electric vehicles and the benefits of wind energy.
