My friend partnered up with me for his mobile and web development company as he needed a graphic designer to create a look for the company.  We first began with a logo that we could use as a brand for the company.  To give it a face and the remainder of the look took off from there.  Since the company is working mainly with mobile and web applications, I thought that the logo should look something like a mobile icon.  What you see up above is the final logo for the company that he chose.
These were the first ideations for the logo and he wanted to see some more versions that would show the text staying diagonal as well as horizontal.
This is the 2nd ideation and he really liked the green icon in the 3rd row, 3rd column.  However, he had purchased a theme for Wordpress with a color scheme in mind and so wanted the green to mesh with the blue as well.  The final version is what you saw up above.
A few months later he asked for me to design business cards and by now I had a good understanding of his site theme. Hence, it took just one ideation, which you see here. The front of the card emphasizes on design and the logo.  The background design is one of the images that he had purchased for the site theme which we used here and on the reverse of the card below.
The reverse of the card has the web site QR code, his company contact information as well as the tag line of the company.
Once the business card was complete, next up was printing brochures.  Therefore, he contacted me again to design a 3-fold brochure for him that he could send to the printers and start giving away to local businesses.  Above you can see the front, the fold (very right) and the back (middle) of the brochure.
Here is the inside of the brochure.  All done with InDesign.
Last thing was to design a letterhead and so judging from what we already had agreed on for the business card, I designed the letterhead with that design model in mind and created two for him to use.  The one see above is the first ideation that he decided to use.
Here is the 2nd ideation of the letterhead that I also sent to him.
