Rediseño de Imagen Corporativa del Grupo de Teatro ESPOL “José Martínez Queirolo” de la Ciudad de Guayaquil.
Al igual que otras expresiones culturales de la ESPOL que contribuyen al desarrollo humanístico en la formación técnica de los profesionales; el Grupo de Teatro JMQ-ESPOL ha experimentado un proceso de crecimiento que se inició hace 35 años como parte del desarrollo artístico de la comunidad Politécnica, con la iniciativa del dramaturgo José Martínez Queirolo (Pipo), y desde esa época la agrupación ha llevado a los escenarios distintas obras, siendo parte de programas importantes y festivales nacionales e internacionales.
Uno de los acontecimientos con mayor trascendencia fue la partida de Pipo, y en su honor el grupo acogió como identidad las siglas de su nombre “J.M.Q.” intentando reflejar también esta nueva etapa en su identidad corporativa.
Este proyecto busca identificar las principales necesidades de comunicación visual del Grupo de Teatro, a través del rediseño de imagen corporativa para dar un concepto que fortalezca su proceso de posicionamiento.
Corporate Identity redesign of The Theatre Group “José Martínez Queirolo” of Guayaquil.
Like other cultural expressions at ESPOL that contribute the humanistic development in the technical training of professionals; the Theatre Group JMQ-ESPOL has experienced a grow up process. This began 35 years ago as part of the artistic development of the Polytechnic community, with the initiative of the playwright José Martínez Queirolo (Pipo); and since then, the group has taken to the stage various plays as part of major programs in national and international festivals.
One of the most transcendent events was Pipo’s decease, and in his honour the group adopted the acronym “J.M.Q.” trying to reflect a new stage in its corporate identity.
The objective of this project is to identify the most important visual communication needs of the theatre group, through the redesign of the corporate identity to give a concept to strengthen its positioning process.
