Fides | Flood Shelter Design Project

Inspired by termite mounds, this design uses a ventilation system using mechanisms seen in termite mounds. These mechanisms include convection and the wind to extract heat and maintain air circulation. It uses this principle to ventilate the internals of the tent using the separate enclosure with perforated mesh at the wall at specific heights.  In this way this allows the bad smell pass out or move to the next enclosure with reduced potency.
"It's not nice sleeping next to a wet dog"
Inspired by a Cat's Claw. Cat's claw self erection and movement mechanism. Using a one direction pull, this design creates a form that provides space for a pet pen at one end of the tent. Repeat head space and provide space at the other end.
