Client style guidance, visual ID and branding design

Stage 1 logo exploration for a new sub brand, adapting and developing existing elements:
Header page explaining the usage of a Wayfinding Toolkit of signage artworks I designed from a strategic guide. I also wrote the copy for this quick stopgap guidance which was an immediate reaction to poor event signage that my client did not want to see repeated at imminent events.
Below are some of the pages from stage 1 of a style guide I created. The client was a very small design agency. Starting from no more than a strategic overview and a few existing digital and press advertisement examples, I efficiently developed, wrote and completed a full but succinct guide for design and production. This included inks, special finishes, typography, layout, photography and other graphic elements but not writing. The whole project was completed in one week. This included a full range of exemplars created as live, final, production-ready master artworks for later adaptation.
